Cupertino Dental Group is seeking a full time expanded function registered dental assistant. This well-qualified RDAEF or RDAEF2 will be a valued member of the team for the senior partner within our practice. Ours is a busy and dynamic general restorative and cosmetic fee for service practice with a patient focused, relationship based team of professionals. The candidate must have their RDAEF or RDAEF2 (expanded function) certification, be energetic and passionate about dentistry, and exhibit proficiency and professionalism while building relationships with our amazing patients.

Requirements:
A current or pending Registered Dental Assistant Expanded Function License
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
Proficiency in assisting a general dentist with emphasis on restorative and cosmetic dentistry
Proficiency in the fabrication of temporary crowns and bridges
Proficiency in packing both first and second cords for retraction
Proficiency in taking digital x-rays
Proficiency in taking alginate impressions, pouring up and trimming stone models
Proficiency in the fabrication of essix appliances and other in office oral appliances
Proficiency in documenting and charting in electronic health records/digital charts
Experience working in a large team environment (non-dental experience ok)

Preferences:
Experience with Dentrix Enterprise or other versions of Dentrix
Experience with Dexis digital x-ray software
Experience with iTero digital scanning or similar
Experience performing Zoom teeth whitening
Experience assisting other dental specialties
Experience with treatment coordinating or assisting treatment coordinators in their daily functions
Have worked in a multi-doctor practice
Have worked in a Fee for Service practice
Schedule:
Full time: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8 am - 5pm required days with a preference that you also work Tuesdays.
