We are looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our team. This is a 3-4 day per week position. We have a strong focus on periodontal health. We are fortunate to have patients who value dental hygiene. Our hygienists co-diagnose with our dentists for a completely cohesive team. Job duties include:
Examine oral cavity and neck and access for periodontal disease.
Administering local anesthetic, scaling, and root planning.
Taking full mouth x-rays and bitewings.
Provide oral health education and individual counseling to each patient according to oral health care practices.
Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patient’s chart.
Maintain accurate and legible notes in patient's chart.
Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
Assist with other office duties as requested or needed.
Qualifications:
California RDH License required.
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training as required by law.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Job Type: 3-4 days per week, the office is open Monday-Thursday.
Salary: $76.00 per hour
Schedule: 8-5 with lunch from 1-2. On average 8 patients a day, each for 1 hour.
