Description:
We are seeking a talented and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team at our Palo Alto office. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and preventative care while delivering an exceptional patient experience and building a long-term relationship with our patients.
Key responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planning, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, polish, and debridement.
Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments, charting and document findings accurately in patient’s records.
Administer local anesthesia to patients when required and as allowed by state regulations.
Take digital dental X-rays and intraoral images as needed for diagnostic purposes.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dental care and preventative measures to maintain tooth and gum health.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, findings, and progress.
Collaborate closely with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment planning.
Partner with clinicians to ensure optimal patient care.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
Qualifications:
Valid and current certifications, licenses, and registrations as mandated by applicable state and federal law.
Experience with dental software and electronic health records.
Compassionate patient centric approach.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledgeable about dental hygiene best practices and patient education.
Detail oriented, organized and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Always maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Job Type: Full Time/Part-time
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
