VCA Madera Pet Hospital is hiring for the position of Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technician. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. We are a multi doctor practice located in Corte Madera (Marin County, CA).
In this position you will be supporting our DVMs and Vet Tech team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
Duties will include:
Providing compassionate care for patients
Venipuncture
IV catheter placement
Hands free radiography (patients are sedated if needed)
Bandage placement
Maintaining medical records via EMR
Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients
Monitoring anesthesia
Pay is $20.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE
