We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant with experience in Human Resources, Payroll, and Light Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Maintain employee files, new-hire paperwork (W-4, I-9, EDD, CalSavers, etc.)
Assist with onboarding, terminations, and seasonal re-hires
Support HR with compliance documentation and reporting
Perform light accounting duties: data entry, invoice matching, expense tracking, and reconciliations
Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with general office tasks
Qualifications:
Previous experience in HR, payroll, or accounting (agriculture experience a plus)
Knowledge of Excel
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Pay: Based on experience
