Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Shop Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth, efficient operation of our shop. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in automotive repair and management, a passion for customer service, and the ability to mentor and motivate a talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the shop, ensuring an organized, productive, and high-quality service environment.
Manage work orders for a variety of services and repairs, maintaining clear and accurate documentation.
Schedule customer appointments and coordinate employee shifts to maximize shop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Conduct diagnostics and perform routine maintenance or simple repairs as needed.
Order, track, and maintain inventory levels for parts, ensuring we have everything we need to meet customer demands while managing costs.
Create a positive, inclusive work culture that encourages teamwork, accountability, and excellent service.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in automotive repair or shop management.
Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team and build strong customer relationships.
Strong understanding of work order management and day-to-day shop operations.
Hands-on experience with vehicle diagnostics and basic repair services.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
