EMPIRE AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES is family-owned automotive repair shop, and we are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Line Automotive Technician to join our team. We are a well-established automotive repair shop known for quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for a mid-master-level technician who excels at tackling complex, in-depth mechanical issues that go beyond routine maintenance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling major vehicle components, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of safety and manufacturer specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Experience: a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as an automotive technician
Problem-Solving: Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills to tackle challenging and non-routine repair scenarios.
Inspections and Road Tests: Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, safety checks, and emissions tests. Road test vehicles before and after repairs to ensure problems are resolved and the vehicle is safe to operate.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required.
ASE Certifications are highly preferred (especially in Engine Repair, Transmission, Drivetrain, etc.).
SMOG LICENSE PREFFERED BUT NOT REQUIRED
Tools: Must possess a complete set of journey-level automotive repair tools; specialized diagnostic equipment will be provided by the company

This is a Full-Time position, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (some Saturdays)
