We are seeking a Bindery Operator / Quality Assurance & Packaging person to join our team. Our ideal candidate should be comfortable with learning how to set up and run various bindery machines. You should also have some mechanical skills. For QA /packaging duties, the ability to understand the parameters of each printing job and an eye for detail are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and operate bindery equipment.
Provide finishing touches to jobs before shipment.
Ensure production assurance (QA)
Final packaging of jobs for delivery and shipping
Follow all safety rules and regulations
Requirements and Qualifications
Quality Control & Quality Assurance skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to understand work orders and production reports
Attention to detail & organization skills essential
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
Mechanical skills
Experience operating commercial bindery equipment (plus)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift 45 lbs.
