Looking for two people for a half day to clean a small Inner Sunset SF apartment ceilings working downward to the floors next weekend. Either afternoon next weekend, Nov 22nd or 23rd. I’m neither a slob or a hoarder. The apartment is reasonably clean day in day out. This is simply my annual pre Thanksgiving Dinner deep clean. This is a half day’s, four hours each hard work for two reasonably fit, likely younger than I people.
The task: We are cleaning the place literally starting at the ceiling(s) and working down to the floors. Wiping down and cleaning every ceiling, wall and floor surface in the place. Mostly with Murphy’s Oil soap and properly hot water. I will clean the sink and toilet in the bathroom. I will be there working with you as I am doing prep work for Thanksgiving Dinner
Pay is $35/hr in green, capitalist, American cash. Which is making $50/hr pre tax. Do a good job and I’ll tip you. I say two people because, while not complicated this is physically demanding, taxing, hard work At least the first couple of hours is wiping down surfaces over your head(s) and above your shoulders as we work down the walls to baseboard and floors. I did this annual deep clean myself for, many years. I know what this task entails. Even two younger, reasonably fit people will be tired after four hours of this.
I supply all requisite cleaning supplies expect gloves. To do this properly, you need to use hot water and change the water reasonably frequently. Hours of dunking your hands with a giant sponge in hot water, you will want gloves of some sort. The only surface that’s a bit tricky is the kitchen floor which gets done almost last. On that we use, another totally natural material, borax and super hot water. I cook, that will take some scrubbing. While totally natural, the Borax will dry the hell out of your skin. Gotta’ have gloves for that part.
Either day Saturday the 22nd or Sunday the 23rd starting roughly lunch time works. This has to be done during daylight hours to see where has and has not been cleaned.
