Driver/Warehouse Person
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver/Warehouse team member in Richmond, California. Your skills and experience are crucial to our operations, as the driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from the warehouse to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class C driver's license, a clean driving record, and experience operating various vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload goods and materials from the warehouse onto the vehicle.
Transport goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner.
Ensure that all goods and materials are properly secured during transport.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any problems to the supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including packing and unpacking goods and materials.
Process inventory for delivery.
Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location.
Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
Work as an active team member to complete team goals.
Bilingual
Forklift certified
Familiar with Bay Area freeways from Sacramento to Watsonville.
5+ years’ experience preferred.
Must have good customer service skills.
Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent
License or certification as dictated by the state to operate heavy machinery as needed.
Valid Class C driver's license.
Able to pass a drug test/background check
Physically able to lift up to 50+ pounds or more.
Bilingual
Able to work independently.
Pay attention to detail and monitor the quality of inventory.
21 years or older.
