Our family owned and operated event rental business prides itself on delivering high-quality equipment with excellent customer service to the entire Bay Area. We’re looking for an enthusiastic go-getter, who is excited to grow with our business as a dedicated delivery and warehouse associate. To qualify you must be hard-working, have attention to detail, be able to load and unload a truck, and must have a clean driving record and license. 20 to 30 hours a week with opportunity for more hours Saturday and Sunday. Must be able to work weekends occasionally.
Responsibilities
Clean and prep equipment
Load equipment onto truck
Count and ensure correct quantities of equipment
Deliver equipment in box truck or pick up truck
Unload equipment on site
Communicate and be the point of contact on site with customers
Communicate delays in delivery schedule to office staff
Set up and breakdown equipment
Put equipment back in warehouse
Keep accurate counts of inventory
Requirements
Must be able to lift at least 65 pounds
Must have some experience with customer service
Must maintain a clean, driving record and license
Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal, bilingual is a plus
Must be able to use basic mathematics skills
Must be able to work in a team setting
Must be able to problem solve
Experience with logistics is a plus
Experience in the event industry is a plus
Starting at $20 per hour based on experience. 20 to 30 hours per week with opportunity for more hours during busy season April through November. Additional weekend shifts available.
