Superior Fence & Rail of East Bay is an industry leader seeking full-time FENCE INSTALLERS for immediate hire. Work consists of building all types of fence including redwood, iron, chain link, hog wire and vinyl. Work hours are from 6:45am – 6:00pm Monday - Thursday and 6:45am - 12:00pm on Friday.
Please note that all offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing drug testing and background check.
Job Responsibilities for the Installer Position:
- Learn, adopt, and implement Superior Fence & Rail's structured installation process
- Assist in loading materials and ensure the right materials packed for each job
- Listen and communicate well with both the lead installer and other crew members to ensure the correct fence is built
- Partner with the lead installer to address any challenges or issues
- Apply strong attention to detail to ensure a quality fence is installed
Minimum requirements to apply:
- Must be able to immediately install a fence with little supervision
- 1 year of Fencing Experience
- 1 year of Lead/Supervisor experience
- Possess Valid Drivers License, Reliable transportation, and must have a Clean driving record
- Pass background check (no felonies or sex offenses) AND Pass drug screening
- Physically Fit for heavy lifting and working in the heat.
- Must be able to: Read job orders, Work Unsupervised, Follow Written/Verbal Instructions, Follow Worker’s Comp.
Procedures for Onsite Injuries, Drive Truck/Trailer, Obey and Enforce all Safety, Administrative, DOT, and Installation Policies and Procedures.
The Superior Candidate will:
- Be organized and detail-oriented with a stable job history
- Have a positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Have verifiable character references from previous managers
