Valley of the Moon Club is seeking a MECHANIC to join our Turf Management Team. Individuals with a history of self-motivation who are driven to excellence in the field of fleet management are encouraged to apply for this position.
Assistant Mechanics, Jr. Mechanics or out of industry Mechanics are welcome to apply!
Responsibilities include:
· Repair and Maintenance of all Golf Course Maintenance Fleet Vehicles including mowers, utility vehicles, rollers, top-dressers and a variety of small engine power tools. We currently lease our new fleet from Toro.
· Maintain a high level of open, effective communication within the club environment.
· Maintain a high standard quality of cut on all mowers.
· Maintain all repair records, forecast maintenance intervals and work with other staff to maintain an efficient flow of on-course maintenance operations.
· Develop and maintain budgets for the vehicle maintenance operation.
· Actively participate in the current staff safety and operation training programs.
· Maintain appropriate records for compliance with local regulatory agencies regarding Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Materials Recycling and OSHA compliance.
· Golf Course Maintenance tasks as required.
Compensation: $27-32 per Hour (based on experience)
