We are a data driven Property Management Company seeking to find new maintenance vendors for our buildings in San Francisco or Oakland. Ideally, we want a driven individual who can handle our day-to-day maintenance tasks.
General responsibilities may include:
-Maintenance and repairs including plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, clean up, steam heat systems, lock/lock cylinder changing, etc.
-Completing work orders in a timely fashion
-Keeping lines of communication open with the home office regarding the status of repairs and scheduling
-Evaluating maintenance requests to determine the need to subcontract out (work) / Assign to vendors with a different skillset
-Estimating time and material costs
-Contemporaneous invoice submission
Job Requirements
-Reliable car/truck and a valid Driver’s license
-Smartphone capable of accessing data and with coverage in San Francisco and/or Oakland
-Proficiency with email
-Ability to take photos / videos with your smart phone
-Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
-Understanding of proper maintenance procedure and techniques
-Effective problem-solving skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work without direct supervision
-Ability to follow specific instructions where appropriate
-Capable of addressing emergency calls as they arise
Desired Skills/Experience
-Knowledge residential electrical and plumbing systems, steam radiators
-Drywall and painting experience
-Familiarity with tools and equipment
-Ability to handle physical workload
