What’s the job:
All your contracted will be assigned and managed using our online portal and inspector mobile dashboard.
Our clients’ forms require questions to be answered by a walk-through observation of properties, an interview with the insured, taking numerous photos, and periodically providing a diagram of the property. Completed reports, diagrams, details, and photos are uploaded to our system via the inspector portal within a 14-day timeframe.
You are contracted provide high-quality, comprehensive, loss control inspection reports as using established protocols, procedures, and policies of our clients and our company. Your comprehensive reports will use existing templates to identify potential loss conditions, hazards, or concerns and make recommendations to mitigate the exposures you identify in your field surveys.
Contracted inspections must be completed during standard business hours Monday-Friday. Inspectors set their own appointment schedule
What’s the pay?
We pay a flat rate for inspections; this is not hourly work.
Base rates at a 25-mile radius of your address begin at $45-$75
Out of area or larger inspection sites are paid based on your flat rate bid for the inspection.
We pay monthly via ACH direct to your US based bank account.
A 1099 will be issued to you each January for tax purposes.
Who you are:
A qualified, professional, reliable, business owner with a flexible schedule-
A person who can clearly demonstrate experience in insurance field inspection, related work and/or has a certification from Loss Control Academy(lossscontrolacademy.com) or the Virtual Insurance Inspector Academy(www.inspectroinstitute.com) in BOTH Personal and Commercial lines inspections.

A proficient writer who can deliver clear, well-written reports for our clients.
A person who is familiar with and comfortable with technology, including MS Office programs.
Important Details:
You must be at least 18 years of age
You must be able to pass a criminal background check
You may not work using your Social Security Number. You must provide an FEIN number (available for free at www.IRS.gov)
As a contractor you are responsible for providing the tools of the job, which include reliable transportation, a computer with high speed internet, a smart phone with a camera, a measuring wheel, a water pressure gauge, GPS navigation (e.g. Apple Maps, Google Maps), Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
Once you have completed your first inspection you must carry professional liability insurance, also known as Errors and Omissions Insurance. Typically, policies are about $25-$45 per month depending on the volume of contract work you do for us. Policies are easily available online.
