Immediate hire for a Janitor in the San Mateo area.
Schedule: Monday to Friday as follows
Monday and Friday 5:00pm - 1:30am
Tuesday to Wednesday 10:00am - 6:30pm
Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour
This position's general responsibilities will be to perform general cleaning inside buildings, exterior grounds and walkways. Responsible for performing janitorial duties, knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.
- Good communication an interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift objects (trash bags) up to 20 pounds
- Frequent bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Walking throughout the building and around the area with great frequency
- Frequent walking, standing, stooping, reaching and bending for more than 4 hours at a time
