Laborer/Carpenter Helper
A San Francisco based General Contractor is seeking an experienced Laborer/Carpenter Helper to work on a wide variety of projects including kitchens, bathrooms, whole house remodels. All projects are based in San Francisco. Candidates will be assisting journeyman carpenters with demolition, foundations, framing, and finish carpentry.
Duties will include:
Demolition, Excavation for footings, moving materials, job site clean-up
Carpentry: Help Carpenters with interior and exterior carpentry tasks including rough framing and finish carpentry. Rough carpentry tasks will include the construction of concrete forms, floor, wall, and roof framing, and window installation. Finish carpentry tasks will include the installation of crown molding, cabinets, base board, doors, closet systems, and siding
Job requirements:
Follows instructions
Two years construction related experience
Willingness to learn
Have reliable transportation and current drivers license
Clean DMV record
Be able to lift heavy items up to 90 pounds
Must be on time
Must be eligible to work in US (job is on payroll)
