The Landscape Crew oversees and actively participates in providing general gardening care and grounds maintenance for Far Niente Wine Estates. Previous experience of 1 year in a similar role.
You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:
Perform general plant care and garden maintenance, i.e., pruning, mowing, blowing, edging, and aerating.
Prepare the facility for daily public visiting hours, including removal of leaves and other debris from walkways and steps.
With proper training, operate machinery and equipment used in the performance of gardening duties.
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines as directed.
Maintains tools and equipment in safe operating condition.
Keeps working areas clean, safe, and organized.
Communicate timely with supervisor with updates on projects assigned and status.
Seeks out direction when unsure on how to safely and competently perform responsibilities.
You will be qualified for this role if you meet these requirements:
Previous experience of 1 year in a similar role.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work with ladders and other equipment.
Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Ability to work independently or in a team
CA DL Good DMV record.
Standing, walking on uneven ground, bending, pushing, pulling, fine dexterity.
Exposure to dust, heat, cold, fumes and chemicals.
Physical requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Walk, kneel, bend, and stand for prolonged periods of time.
Pay range $22 to $25 Hourly
