Material Handling (Novato, CA)
Immediate opening for a Material Handler / Order Builder to work full-time at our Novato warehouses. This position will spend the majority of the time stocking material and/or building orders Forklift experience is a plus. The Kelleher Corporation is an established, highly successful company and is one of the largest distributors of wood moulding products and accessories in the West.
● Move bundles of moulding onto forklift, usually weighing between 10 and 50 pounds.
● Build product orders by pulling stock from shelves and bundling product according to the delivery order. This requires moving orders weighting between 25 and 50 pounds.
● Drive forklift to load completed orders onto delivery trucks (mostly flatbed semi-trucks) and to stock and pull items from warehouse aisles.
This is a Monday through Friday position. There will be overtime depending on the workload.
Must have basic math skills (adding, subtraction, multiplication and division) and read/write English. You should be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision throughout the day. Previous experience driving a forklift in a busy warehouse a big plus. We require a pre-employment drug screen.
