Responsibilities:
- [ ] - Complete maintenance requests and apartment turnovers
- [ ] - Participate in after-hour on-call service on a rotating basis
- [ ] - Maintain the interior and exterior common areas, including trash patrols of parking lots, trash enclosures, laundry rooms, carports, and pressure washing when necessary
- [ ] - Repair current equipment and amenities at the property
- [ ] - Diagnose and perform preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and interior/exterior upkeep
- [ ] - Perform landscaping cleanup, assisting the current landscaping team with watering, weeding, mowing, and tree/bush trimming
- [ ] - Conduct daily and weekly inspections and maintenance of all common areas
- [ ] - Complete resident-requested service orders as provided by management
- [ ] - Ensure the property’s appearance is neat, safe, and welcoming
- [ ] - Manage on-site shed and tool inventory
- [ ] - Assist in enforcing community rules, maintaining community safety, and responding to emergencies as needed
- [ ] - Perform other tasks as needed or assigned by management
Requirements and Expectations:
- Valid driver’s license
- At least one year of experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in an apartment or multifamily environment
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Proficiency in HVAC (a plus but not required)
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance problems independently
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Significant physical activity (walking, ladders, climbing stairs, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulder height is required daily)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds

The work schedule and availability for emergency on-call duty may vary depending on the specific location/community.
Additional Information/Benefits:
This is a part-time role, with a weekly schedule of 15 hours from Monday to Friday. Schedules may vary.
