Kasten Builders is a custom home builder and remodeler specializing in high-end residential construction for Bay Area clientele. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Carpenter with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in residential construction. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow within a high-performing team and gain mastery over the full scope of carpentry, from site prep and demo to finishing. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude are essential.
Key Qualifications
Proven experience as a carpenter.
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Good understanding of basic math.
Good physical condition and endurance; Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.
A reliable, suitable vehicle for construction work and travel to and from job sites.
A personal set of all necessary construction tools for a wide range of tasks.
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
Knowledge of English; Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a major plus.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Apply expertise in carpentry techniques, tools, and materials to execute rough carpentry tasks, such as framing and installing structural components.
Execute high-quality finish carpentry tasks including but not limited to door hanging, trim installation, and cabinetry work.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Compensation
Full-Time Hourly Position, $35-$45 per hour
