Part time (on call) experienced screen printer

Seeking experienced, flexible on-call (part time) screen printer that knows how to do a job from start to finish.

Equipment: Manual 4s/6c Riley Hopkins press, soon we'll have an 8c/8s for more productivity.

Must know how to use waterbased inks and discharge ink (only print with waterbased). Must be able to set up a job and print efficiently without too much trouble or misprinting more than a few per job. We typically print anywhere between 100-300 tees a shift, depending on the graphics, and weather.

We are a small graphic apparel company based in Forestville, CA. Our studio is home-based, which means you must be comfortable working in a garage style studio. Our printing needs change week by week, so you’d have to be flexible and prepared to check in Sundays to plan the week. This could lead to a permanent position. I’m mainly looking for some to fill in for me so I can do other administrative tasks.

Looking for a grounded person with a strong work ethic.

No smoking, or substance use- alcohol and weed included.

Shifts could start as early as you want ( I usually start between 5-7 am and finish at 12 or 1, open to figuring it out with you. I’m seeking a collaborative teammate that can trouble shoot independently or collectively.

This would be a good position for someone looking for supplemental income, who is self employed, or has a flexible schedule.

Tasks, but not limited:

Screen print multiple locations on different types of garments, including removing and printing neck tags.

Track inventory

Print clean, consistent prints

Follow production instructions diligently

Take thorough notes

Catch/stack your own printed tees

Also, knows how to heat press DTF graphics, as needed- not required but will train right person.

Fold and bag and label shirts- when or as needed

(We have one fulfillment person, they also fold tees, but 4 hands are better than two).

A plus if you have embroidery experience.

We started in 2020 during the pandemic and are growing and looking for someone to increase our efficiency especially during holiday season. We aim to move to a commercial space in the next 6 months but for now seeking someone who is okay working from our home, and potentially growing with us. Our setup is simple yet effective.

I hope you enjoy the work you do, and enjoy working alone or with some team members. We are laid back but hustle and grind when needed.

If this is you, I’d love to chat with you.

Please fill out this job application and send us your resume.
