This position is for an Operations Associate and Mover at a Home Staging and Interior Design company. The Operations team plays a critical role that is responsible for storage, transportation, and maintenance of all company items including staging inventory, vehicles, tools, and our warehouse facilities. The ideal candidate to join our team is dependable, organized, and is able to safely lift over 70 lbs on a regular basis. This is a part-time position with hours that fluctuate based on market demand.
Qualifications
This position is for an Operations Associate with a minimum of 1 year of experience in residential home staging, moving, or other home improvement related work
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to/from project sites
Experience loading/unloading a box truck, operating a power liftgate, using a hand truck, dolly, and ratchet straps
Prior experience driving a box truck of 14ft or more on a regular basis is a plus
Comfortable using a hammer and other small hand tools to hang art work, assemble furniture, and make repairs
Familiar with assembling furniture
Be able to bend, reach, and lift 70+ lbs on a regular basis
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Attention to detail
Able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment to effectively meets deadlines
Communicate and work well with your operations and design team members for staging installations and removals
Responsibilities
Maintain clean and orderly work sites - within the 2 warehouses and at any job site. Including disposing of trash, vacuuming, steam cleaning, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and breakroom, etc.
Manage the organization of the warehouses by securely storing inventory for easy access by the designers
Maintain order of large furniture with appropriate padding and wrapping for damage-free storage
Maintain small decor and artwork in an organized manner that protects inventory from damage
Stock the materials cabinets with cleaning supplies, tools, bins, and other essential items for staging and destaging
Maintain Inventory Management system to ensure it is up to date with items around the warehouses
Drive the box truck (if licensed)
Receive or pickup deliveries and safely unpackage items and store within the warehouses for design usage
Assemble furniture
Repair broken furniture, frames, or decor
Participate in all 3 Steps of the Staging process:
Step 1: Planning/Designing for a Project: Pickup furniture, decor, and art from the inventory in our warehouses that design has chosen for a staging project
Step 2: Pack + Load Truck for Installation of Staging: Wrap and pack decor for safe transportation to the project site. Load truck.
Step 3: Install Staging in the Home: Prepare home for staging by putting down protective pads and mats. Unload the truck and place furniture and boxes in the correct locations. Unpack decor. Arrange furniture, hang artwork, clean furniture, sweep up after staging so we leave no trace behind us.
When staging contracts expire, breakdown the staging in the home, wrap it safely for transport, and load the truck to return items to our warehouses

You are on-time and physically available to work at the time scheduled
You have a valid drivers license
Time-off requests are submitted with sufficient notice to find a replacement
Intoxicants of any kind are prohibited in the warehouses, on client sites, and in company vehicles
Schedule
Part-Time (5-25 hours) hours fluctuate based on market demand
Hours usually Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, occasionally evenings and weekends
Flexible schedule
Usually Saturday/Sunday off
