The DAISY Foundation is a non-profit started in memory of J. Patrick Barnes who passed away from an autoimmune disease. His family was so touched by the compassionate care that Patrick's nurses provided to Patrick and to his whole family that they wanted to say thank you and allow other patients/families the opportunity to say thank you to their own special nurse, and so they created The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
We are looking for a part-time shipping assistant to help get these Awards to our healthcare partners to celebrate their nurses. In addition to being able to stand for four hours and lift 50 lbs. we are looking for someone with computer skills who can assist with creating and printing shipping labels after training.
