Role Description:
We are hiring a Pressure Washing Technician to perform pressure washing, soft washing, and gutter cleaning in San Francisco. Needs to be a 100% reliable, honest, hard worker. The Technician will be responsible for cleaning outdoor surfaces at our clients’ homes and businesses. You must clean customer properties to the highest level, avoid damaging customer property, and use equipment safely and appropriately. You should have at least one year of previous experience using a pressure washing system and doing softwashing (using chemicals to clean rather than high pressure).
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles
- Protect landscaping and sensitive areas of clients’ homes to avoid damage
- Apply solutions for appropriate lengths of time and adequately rinse to ensure no negative impacts to paint or finishes
- Operate pressure washing machinery to clean all types of exterior surfaces (e.g. siding, stucco, fences, driveways)
- Ensure equipment is in good working order and has appropriate water supply, oil, and gas
- Inspect surfaces for any missed spots after cleaning
- Follow safety procedures to protect yourself and client property
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Must be reliable and always on time
- Experience operating a pressure washing machine
- Experience with working from ladders
- Ability to be on feet for 8-10 hours; squatting, bending, reaching, twisting, etc.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work at heights, climb ladders up to 20’, and safely operate scissor lift
- Follow all safety requirements and use appropriate PPE
- Work outdoors in all weather
- Interact with clients in friendly and professional manner
- Must have reliable vehicle to get to job sites in San Francisco and sometimes Marin County
Will start at one day / week (8-10hrs) with the opportunity to take on more shifts over time. Pay starts at $25/hr with a raise to $30/hr after a successful first six months. Negotiable based on experience.
