We are looking for someone that wants to start & end their Sundays being around and feeding some really nice horses.
Compensation: $18 to start, probably 60 to 90 minutes morning (8AM) & Evening (5PM)
More hours & additional days may be available if interested -Sundays a MUST.

We have an opening for a dependable, prompt, dependable, pleasant, reliable and hardworking person for our well established boarding and riding stable. We are looking for an animal lover that likes to be around horses and enjoys daily physical activity, "save yourself from the gym". Our ideal person is looking for an outside physically active position. This is a physical job. In order to fit in here, a love of animals is necessary and references are required. Dependability a MUST!
Employment type: part-time. Might be really good for a retired or semi retired animal lover that wants to be around animals, horses & cats especially. Horse experience is not required, but perhaps an opportunity for an animal lover to become more familiar with horses. We are easy & conveniently located close to major roads.
We expect our employees to be safe and practice safe techniques. Work is entirely outdoors and around animals People that embrace this are invited to apply. We do need a dependable person!
Time: Besides the Sunday hours listed at the top of this add - weekday ranch hous are typically 2 to 3 hours or more, especially on project days, if the fit is good and you desire to be in this wonderful place more, we can talk. This is a job for someone that can work independently and really enjoys outside work around animals. More hours may be available if desired - again SUNDAYS a must.
Exposure to allergens, dust, mold, grasses, hay, flies, mosquitoes, and other animals, animal extracts, and horse owners is unavoidable and all part of the job.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have good and clean references.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed on a ranch outside. Wear protective footwear, eye-wear, protective clothing for outdoor weather that you provide, use of appropriate safety equipment is required. Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, walking, use of hand and power tools and standing on feet while performing job functions. Exposure to disinfectant and other solutions or solvents or. . . Exposure to various weather conditions when working outdoors. Subject to animal bites, kicks, scratches. Tetanus and Rabies (pre-exposure) inoculations are recommended. Consistent exposure to animals and animal allergens under conditions with limited alternatives available. Frequent communication with fellow workers, employers, horse owners, veterinary and emergency personnel and members of the public. Driver's license required.
A SSC# or green card is required for this position, no housing is provided.
