We are a local Bay Area solar PV installation company seeking a senior solar installer with at least 2 years of experience in electrical work.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Installation of flashing, mounting, racking, conduits and raceways, and wiring for solar panel and battery storage systems required
Knowledge of California electrical code, electrical wiring, service panels, circuit breakers, load calculations, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of installing solar PV systems, including reading design plans, troubleshooting PV systems, and calculating PV loads
Knowledge of battery systems and upcoming energy storage system models would be a plus
Knowledge of wall and framing repair and patching and light concrete work would be a plus
Attending city inspections with knowledge of installation and inspection procedures
Working at elevated heights with required power tools
Must be able to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs repetitively, and communicate professionally
Maintenance of safe ladder use, fall protection, and general company safety policies
Must have valid California drivers license
