Rancho de los Amigos (RDLA), a horse boarding facility, is hiring! We are looking for part-time stall cleaners to clean stalls on our morning shift. The Stall Cleaner will primarily clean the stalls, replace bedding, and remove waste. RDLA is a drug/alcohol/tobacco-free work zone.
Must be 18 years of age. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
Qualifications:
Must be comfortable and familiar with horses
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Must be able to work early mornings in all weather conditions and all seasons (hot sun, rain, cold)
Must be able to follow all company safety rules and procedures
Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient; excellent time management skills
This is a physically demanding jo requiring lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy loads; walking on uneven surfaces; reaching, stooping, bending, etc.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to perform duties with repetitive wrist and arm motion, with or without accommodation
Must be comfortable working in a confined space such as a barn or horse stall with horses present
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly nature
Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
Horse experience strongly preferred. Please include a brief description of your horse experience along with your application.
Schedule:
Part-time position approximately 5 hrs per day, two to five or six shifts per week, including weekends and holidays
