Position: Pest Technician

Smith's Pest Management has been eliminating landscape pests in the Bay Area for over 15 years. We pride ourselves on professionalism, respect, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
This position is to fill an opening in the East Bay region, generally covering Contra Costa County and Alameda County. This position dispatches from home and may require occasional visits to the San Jose headquarters, typically once or twice a month.

Job Overview:
We are looking for individuals who:
Enjoy working independently.
Prefer working outdoors.
Have experience or interest in landscaping, gardening, or similar hands-on fields.
Take pride in eliminating problem rodents effectively.
Training: All necessary training will be provided.
Compensation: 27/hour. Our commissioned techs (those who pass train and gain experience and can take on a permanent route) have annual salary ranges from $65,000 to $85,000, depending on effort and performance. The goal of this position is to be trained and ready to take on a permanent route when one opens up or we can create one for you. We are constantly selling new work.
This entry-level position starts with hourly comp, (Plus regular opportunities for overtime ). And transitioning to commission-based earnings after mastering all required skills.

A Day in the Role:
Travel to customers' homes.
Inspect yards for signs of gophers and moles.
Set traps and monitor progress.
Repeat the process as needed.
