Summary:
Adrian's Storage Facility Manager is an energetic, professional, outgoing self-starter who is a team player, works well with others and possesses above average customer service skills. He/she aggressively contributes to profitability by developing and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships and is committed to customer satisfaction. The manager must be able to effectively and safely drive a forklift to move vehicles in and out of the buildings, pay close attention to detail and be able to handle light bookkeeping and computer skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for valet parking all customer vehicles through the use of a forklift (for boats) and driving for cars. They must keep the facility rented at optimum levels and effectively maintain positive customer relations.
General management of the office includes, but is not limited to opening and closing the office on time each day. Maintaining all required tenant documentation in a neat and orderly manner. Park and pull customer vehicles as part of our Valet Service. Rent space, actively maintain supplies. Provide outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer problems and professionally handling telephone and walk-in inquiries.
Visually inspects the facility daily, observes and responds promptly to any situation. Maintains a neat, clean, safe and secure facility including minor maintenance. Notifies their direct supervisor of all maintenance items that require attention in a timely manner. Effectively communicates with management and fellow employees.
Work Experience:
Prior forklift experience or tow vehicle experience is required. Basic facility maintenance skills. Office skills, communication and some sales skills are preferred. Cash handling and telephone skills are a must.
Physical Demands:
Must be in good physical condition with the ability to Repeatedly Stand, Sit, Bend, Lift without limitation.
