This is a full-time, year-round position for a local trucking and material company. Workdays are Monday through Friday, with frequent overtime, and occasional Saturday work. You will operate a variety of equipment, such as street sweeper, water truck, and fork lift, and perform a variety of manual tasks as necessary for day to day operations. You will be responsible for working safely in a fast-paced workplace, as part of a team. You will also assist in routine maintenance of assorted pieces of equipment and learn company processes. There is opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.
The applicant needs to meet the following minimum requirements:
Read, write, and communicate clearly in English. Spanish is a plus.
Should have some experience operating equipment of a similar type.
Be physically capable of handling the work, and be able to lift at least fifty pounds.
Be able to work as part of a team.
Must be a legal resident of the US, or be legally eligible to work in the US.
Have a valid California Driver’s license with a clean DMV report. Class A or B is a plus, as is a tanker endorsement.
Be able to pass pre-employment & random drug & alcohol screening.

Starting wage will be $26.00-$28.00/hr determined by your current level of experience, with increases at 3 months and 12 months based on your performance.
