The ideal candidate will have prior law firm billing experience. The accounting clerk is responsible for providing accounting support to the controller and accounting supervisor. Under general supervision will perform a variety of duties, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable and client billing.
Essential Functions
This position is responsible for the review, edit, and distribution of pre-bills, generate statements and reports for attorneys and accounting managers, input client payments, disbursements and recoverable costs, processing expense reimbursements among other AP and AR duties.
Qualifications
3 - 5 years experience
Ability to prioritize and organize work
Ability to read, write and perform mathematical computations
Knowledge of web based e-billing systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel
Experience using Prolaw is a plus
