People With Disabilities Foundation (PWDF) is seeking a Contract Attorney for 1 or 2 cases against the Social Security Administration (SSA) for violating Sec. 504 in which two Plaintiffs with schizophrenia seek reasonable accommodations for program access.
Current complex civil rights litigation in federal court (N.D. Cal.) against the SSA. One case is ordered to mediation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed to practice law in good standing in California. Admitted to practice in the Northern District of California.
A minimum of 10-12 years of litigation experience;
Background in disability rights; Sec. 504.
Professional communications, including both verbal and written skills;
Compensation:
This is an Independent Contractor position.
Pay range: DOE.
