Sr. Account Executive

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive with a background in legal services to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships, driving business growth, and leveraging your legal expertise to support clients and offer tailored solutions. Your understanding of legal principles and practices will help in offering informed and compliant solutions while managing accounts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

o Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients in legal sectors, such as law firms and corporate legal departments.

o Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and providing strategic solutions that align with their goals.

o Regularly meet with clients to assess their needs, deliver presentations, and provide updates on new services or product offerings.

Sales and Business Development:

o Identify new business opportunities and work to expand the client base in the legal industry.

o Drive the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.

o Create proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee the contract lifecycle.

Legal Industry Knowledge and Compliance:

o Leverage your legal background to provide insights on compliance issues, regulations, and legal trends that could impact clients.

o Advise clients on legal aspects related to the products or services offered by the company, ensuring solutions meet regulatory requirements.

o Stay updated on legal industry changes and trends to ensure that clients receive relevant and up-to-date advice.

Collaboration and Coordination:

o Collaborate with internal teams, including legal experts, product development, and marketing, to ensure client needs are met efficiently.

o Coordinate legal documentation, contracts, and agreements in partnership with the legal department to ensure proper compliance.

Reporting and Documentation:

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in CRM tools, ensuring all communications and transactions are documented.

o Provide regular updates and reports on account status, sales progress, and market insights to management.

Qualifications:

Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field. A Juris Doctor (JD) or other legal qualifications are a plus.

Experience:

o Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales/account management role.

o A strong background in the legal industry, either as a practicing lawyer, legal consultant, or in a legal support role.

o Prior experience in client-facing roles where legal knowledge was required to drive solutions.

Skills:

o Strong understanding of legal principles, practices, and regulations in the industry.

o Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

o Ability to translate legal knowledge into business solutions that align with client needs.

o Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple clients and accounts effectively.

o Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in legal tech, legal consulting, or compliance solutions.

Knowledge of specific legal areas such as corporate law, intellectual property, or litigation support.

Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
