Founded in 2017, P3EDU is the leading forum for university executive leaders to network and share best practices around public-private partnership in higher education. Our 7th annual event will be held November 3-5, 2025 at Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
We are looking for a dynamic Marketing & Communications Specialist to drive our marketing initiatives in the higher education space as we grow our annual event and associated community using a full spectrum of tools and tactics (email, digital content, social engagement, etc.). The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills and a background creating compelling marketing campaigns that engage our target demographics.
In this role, you will:
Lead the development of marketing materials (collateral, digital and social) from creative execution to implementation and delivery.
Design and execute digital marketing campaigns across all digital platforms.
Oversee social media platforms and lead social media communications efforts including the creation of new content for social media, including videos, graphics.
Use marketing expertise/experience to contribute to larger marketing initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; preference for high GPAs from top institutions.
Superior written communication, grammar, and copyediting skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bonus Considerations
Proficiency in using Mailchimp and marketing via LinkedIn.
Proficiency in multiple areas of marketing (direct marketing, e-marketing, communications, analytics, social networking media, etc.).
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to make minor website edits.
Event marketing.
Experience working in or selling to higher education.
This role is flexible as a virtual work role. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Pacific Time Zone of the U.S.
