Tucker & Marks, Inc. is seeking a motivated, passionate and aspiring individual to join our team. This is a full-time position in a creative and fast pace environment. We are a well-established firm specializing in high-end residential projects and located in San Francisco.
Responsibilities include:
- General maintenance and appearance of library and design studio
- Responsible for showroom returns and general filing/return of items removed from library
- Scheduling of vendor presentations
- Maintain an orderly and well-stocked resource library system and files
- Manage and maintain the company's extensive book library
- Assist in preparation of presentation boards, project specification and material reference books
- General research as needed by design studio staff
- Works with designers, showrooms and vendors to identify new library resources, materials, references and services
- Assist with miscellaneous office needs, filing, etc.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years previous office experience and working with a team
- Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and problem solving skills
- Initiative, attention to details and follow-through are key factors
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop
- Exceptional attendance and punctuality; flexibility to work overtime
Prior experience in the design industry and knowledge of showrooms and vendors is preferable.
