O&Y Precision is expanding and we're looking for a skilled 5-Axis CNC Machinist to join our team. If you're experienced with Matsuura and Doosan 5-axis machines, and take pride in precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship—this is your opportunity to work in a high-performance environment with cutting-edge equipment.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience setting up and operating 5-axis CNC machines
Strong knowledge of Matsuura and Doosan controls (Fanuc-based)
Capable of reading and interpreting complex aerospace and defense blueprints
Skilled in selecting tools, dialing in fixtures, and optimizing setups for efficiency
Ability to hold tight tolerances on complex, multi-op parts
Experience with a variety of materials: aluminum, titanium, Inconel, stainless, plastics, etc.
Basic understanding of G-code and ability to make minor program edits as needed
Strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the job
Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to quality
Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus):
Familiarity with Trunnion setups and pallet systems
Experience in AS9100
Familiarity with Zeiss CMM inspection processes
