Our Menlo Park medical start up client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveAdministrative Assistantwith2 years of experienceto support team with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in an on site role.
Schedule: Mon, Friday 8-4:30 and Thursday 12:30 to 4:30 Pay rate: $23-24 hour DOE
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls.
Maintain and organize filing systems (electronic and physical).
Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents as needed.
Order office supplies and manage inventory.
Support event planning and coordination for company meetings and functions.
Perform data entry and maintain databases.
Assist with HR-related administrative tasks, such as onboarding, scheduling interviews and maintaining employee records.
Provide general support to visitors and act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
2-5 years of experiencein an administrative support role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with office management systems, CRM software, or accounting software (a plus).
Education & Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Administration, Communications, or a related field).
Proven experience in a similar administrative role.
