A Typical Day Involves:
Managing existing accounts
Prospecting new opportunities
Conducting warm and cold calls to prospects
Scheduling tours or visiting prospective customer sites to understand their needs
Obtaining quotes and communicating prospective customer requirements to the management team. Reporting on business opportunities
Submitting quotes to prospective customers
Following up on quotes and working to obtain purchase orders
Collaborating with the team to manage each account for maximum operating profit and revenue growth, and developing and communicating metrics to track activities.
The Experience We're Looking For:
Existing business contacts in the manufacturing space
Direct selling experience in manufacturing services required
Ability to collaborate and work as a team with ease
Desire and aptitude to quickly learn new things
Strong drive for sales success
Solid business acumen
Understanding of markets, products, and services
Work experience requiring interface with customers
