Job Description:
This position programs, sets up, and operates CNC Lathe equipment to support both Production and R&D requirements as well as Citizen screw machines.
Job Requirements:
The CNC Lathe Machinist and Screw Machinist responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining CNC Programs for all component parts.
Fabricates production parts and make-to-order using established fixtures, methods, and programs.
Fabricates tooling and fixtures, to include preparation of raw materials, setup, and programming of parts.
Conducts in-process and final inspection of parts as required.
Makes machine adjustments to keep parts within specification.
Utilizes blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions of finished parts and required steps to produce parts.
Maintains area to high level of safety and housekeeping standards. Performs routine maintenance of equipment as directed.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
Three-five years of CNC experience, the ability to read blueprints, machine manuals, technical procedures and adhere to governmental regulations.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly motivated, self-starter
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Requires 3-5 yrs exp with CNC Lathe machining on stainless steel, aluminum and plastics.
Experience with Mazak's and Citizen’s is a plus
Must be proficient in set-up and operating CNC lathes.
Candidates must be able to work all shifts
