The general qualifications are listed below, but in short words, we're looking for someone to keep one of our large part prototyping vertical mills running. You would be in charge of working with Operations to set good due dates for your parts, and then programming, setting up, and running them while maintaining drawing tolerances with little need for assistance from the other machinists.
Qualifications:
4+ years of CNC and/or manual machining experience on vertical or horizontal mills
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a related role
Strong understanding of CNC machining principles and GD&T
Proficiency in CAM programming and CAD software (Esprit experience a plus)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and set and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Ability to work with and without technical drawings/blueprints
Set up, operate, and work with QC to ensure parts are within tolerance
Be able to lift 50 lbs. and pass a drug test
