Our capabilities include 3, 4, & 5-Axis CNC Milling, CNC Turning + Mill/Turn, Waterjet Cutting, Precision Welding, Electromechanical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems integration. We utilize multiple pallet-based robotic loading systems on 3 & 5-Axis workcells for unattended production.

We manufacture & integrate custom manufacturing equipment for our customers in addition to more general job-shop machine work. This includes anything from production of components or subassemblies in the 1000s of quantity for customer Production activities, all the way down to complex 1-off prototypes to support customer R&D activities - and just about anything in-between. In addition to traditional machined parts, we produce a wide of range of precision welded structures and components requiring a mix of various machined sub-components & specialized fixturing to support welding & integration activities.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Programmer. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming, selecting suitable tooling & workholding, as well as physical setup and proofing of developed programs. They will work closely with estimators at the quoting stage, planners at the planning stage and manufacturing staff on the shop floor to create and modify CNC programs, monitor manufacturing processes, and ensure quality control throughout the production cycle. They will also be responsible for design & production of fixturing required to support manufacturing of customer-designed components.

This role provides the ability to blend offline programming with hands-on shop-floor experience in order to support projects across a diverse customer-base. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable at a CAD workstation or producing first-articles on the shop floor. The successful candidate will also be a reliable team-player with a strong work-ethic who takes pride in consistently producing high-quality work for our customers in a fast-paced environment, while continually expanding their own knowledge and skillset in the manufacturing space.

Qualifications

-Minimum 2 years experience in CNC Programming utilizing SolidWorks / HSM / Fusion CAD/CAM packages

-Experience setting-up and operating HAAS machine tools - including VF, UMC & ST-Y series of machines

-Strong working knowledge of cutting tool selection, feeds & speeds and machining strategies for aluminum alloys, carbon steel, alloy steels, stainless steels and common engineering plastics

-Strong understanding of GD&T principles with the ability to determine order-of-operations, tooling selection and workholding strategies in order to ensure consistent production of components meeting customer requirements

-Experience with standard inspection techniques & equipment for validation of machined components

-Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities - ability to think outside the box by leveraging previous experiences to solve new or novel problems

-Attention to detail and excellent time management skills - ability to focus where they're adding value and avoid chasing diminishing returns

-Willingness to apply the same level of focus & rigor to all components in support of company goals, regardless of technical complexity

-Experience supporting both high-mix-low-volume and higher-volume-production type projects, consistently delivering quality components efficiently

-Experience working in a fast-paced environment where the only constant is change and every day brings a fresh set of challenges

-Experience with cloud-based ERP systems for documentation & job-tracking desired

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

-Ability to work constructively with team members at all levels of the organization
