This position is for a CNC Turning Machinist that can perform fast and efficient set-ups on double spindle live tooled Mazak CNC Lathes to support both Production and R&D requirements.
This position is a 4 day work week for day shift and for swing shift
Machinist Job Requirements:
The Turning CNC Machinist responsibilities include:
Assisting in developing and maintaining CNC Programs for all component parts.
Manufactures production parts and make-to-order using established fixtures, methods, and programs.
Fabricates tooling and fixtures, to include preparation of raw materials, setup, and programming of parts.
Conducts in-process and final inspection of parts as required.
Makes machine adjustments to keep parts within specification.
Utilizes blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions of finished parts and required steps to produce parts.
Maintains area to high level of safety and housekeeping standards. Performs routine maintenance of equipment as directed.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
Three-five years of CNC Turning experience, the ability to read blueprints, machine manuals, technical procedures and adhere to company and governmental regulations.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly motivated, self-starter
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Experience with Mazak Turning Equipment
