Machine Operator – Lingrove

Location: San Rafael, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive Machine Operator at Lingrove. Your primary responsibility will be to operate machinery used in the manufacturing process of composite materials. You will be responsible for ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained, while collaborating with co-workers to help our team achieve a high level of productivity. Key Responsibilities

-Assist with machinery setup and initial troubleshooting process

-Run production operations including material transfers from warehouse

-Operate roll to roll converting machinery and material handling equipment safely

-Perform and/or manage machinery maintenance

-Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems internally

-Create and maintain activity logs

-Comply with all safety and health regulations

-Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

-Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience in machine operating within a manufacturing facility

-Experience troubleshooting various production or manufacturing equipment

Skills

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work procedures, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment

-Strong attention to detail

-Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in different units of measurement

-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand or walk for extended periods

-Willingness to work in shifts (including late/early hours, weekends, and overtime)

Nice-to-Haves

-Understanding of converting production and plant processes

-Proficiency with computers (spreadsheets, documents, etc.)

-Knowledge of material transfer from material to production

-Prior experience with inventory management

-Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification once hired

About the Role

You will be working onsite from our San Rafael, CA office. Core hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $48,000-$55,000 annually, which is just one aspect of our total compensation package. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
