Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.
Responsibilities
Operate box trucks and other vehicles for the purpose of delivering goods to various locations.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured properly during transport.
Navigate designated routes while adhering to delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption.
Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery sites.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization and packaging.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus, enhancing operational efficiency.
Experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks, is highly desirable.
Proven delivery driver experience with a solid understanding of route driving principles.
Ability to perform some lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
