Description:
We are a technology and manufacturing firm located in San Jose, supporting a range of industrial and scientific customers. Operating in a clean, organized environment. Second-shift role for mechanically inclined individuals supporting assembly, soldering, and testing to join our team in a part-time general assembly and support role, with the potential to grow into a full-time position. This role involves a wide range of hands-on duties and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and likes to stay busy and productive.
Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly using tools and fixtures
Support dip soldering and basic electrical assembly work (training provided)
Assist with testing, inspection, and SMT production line support as needed
Help with shipping and receiving, inventory organization, and stockroom duties
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Experience using basic hand tools, torque drivers, and mechanical fixtures
Willingness to learn soldering and other manufacturing processes
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team
Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment
Prior experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing is a plus, but not required
Compensation:
$22.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
Part-time position with potential to transition into full-time
