Job Description
In this role, you will operate a variety of machine tool equipment including drill presses, lathes, milling machines, CNCs, and other hand and power machines. You will work from blueprints, sketches, production diagrams, and engineering drawings, and follow verbal instructions to fabricate various machined components. Your responsibilities will also include making shop calculations, inspecting parts using precision measuring tools, programming machines, providing work leadership, managing resources, maintaining equipment, arranging for repairs, and training new employees. You'll ensure that work is allocated fairly among machinists and completed on schedule.
