Full Job Description
Jaco Machine Works is an AS9100 certified machine shop supporting the medical and aerospace industries. We are in immediate need of a deburr technician for our Finishing Department. Position is for first shift with overtime available.
Responsibilities
Remove burrs and sharp edges from metal and plastic parts using files, knives, etc.
Operate tumbling machines
Flat sand and/or scotchbrite parts for surface finish
Operate ultrasonic cleaner to clean and passivate finished parts
Assemble fasteners and hardware into finished components
Success in these functions could lead to greater responsibility, including training in CNC Machining and Laser Welding
Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
Good eyesight (many parts and burrs are small)
Desirable
Previous parts finishing experience - however, we will provide training
Previous assembly experience
