ExcelFab, Inc. is looking for a full-time, experienced punch programmer for our precision sheet metal shop in Santa Clara, CA. Compensation will be very competitive and based on experience. Benefits include holiday pay, vacation, sick time, medical/dental plans and a 401k plan. The following requirements are a must have for all applicants:
- Experience with Amada AP100 programming software
- Familiarity with Amada PEGA and VELA machines; being a past punch operator is a MUST
- Knowledge of all sheet metal processes and how they are related to programming (shearing, welding, forming, hardware installation, deburring, etc.)
- Ability to mark up drawings with K factors and relevant bending information
- Familiarity with using an MRP system
