Quality Machining & Design, Inc. is a well-established company that has been doing business in San Jose for over 25 years. We are a premium CNC machining and design facility with 2 buildings totaling over 25000sqft of shop space. We primarily serve the aerospace and semiconductor industries and take pride in the challenging nature of our work. Our organization operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and we operate a clean, safe, state-of-the-art facility.
Skills:
Strong knowledge and experience with machine shop processes, machinery and software
CAM programming knowledge preferred
CAD drafting a plus
Ability to read drawings
Excellent communication skills
Planning and time management skills to achieve objectives and complete projects
Pricing and purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment for materials, hardware, and outside processes.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible in assisting with the quoting process by procuring pricing and lead times for materials, hardware and outside processes
Assist in planning the production of machined parts by assisting the production manager with any tasks needed
Communicating with customers and vendors
This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
